Photometric Stereo

For a job interview assignment, I implemented and wrote a report on a reconstruction technique known as photometric stereo. Photometric stereo is the process of estimating surface normals by observing an object under different lighting conditions.

In short I:

• Wrote code that can reconstruct surfaces of objects in color and greyscale images (given incident light directions).
• Wrote a 15-page report on the technique’s theoretical considerations and possible avenues for related research.
